Have a bit of a dilemma here as I'm not getting any further forward.

I've had to buy a new brake drum due to the sprocket worn out. I've measured it and exactly the same As my old one.

Condensation in primary chain case

I have two Norton singles stored in the same garage. I have trouble with one of these machines getting condensation in the primary chain case. This can happen at any time summer or winter. What's going wrong?

Steering damper knob

Hello,  wonder if someone could tell me if the bakelite knob comes off on the steering damper, i cant get it to undo. Barry

1938 model 18 Oil issue

hi there well it finally arrived so I thought I would do some commissioning work.

I gave a really good clean out as it was a little bit messy.

Refilled it and did a oil check.  

electric start model 50

I have noticed an electric start Model 50 on the  Car and Classic website.
I imagine this is a one off, but has anyone any information on this bike?
it would be interesting to know a few more details.

16H mixture (?) problem

Hi all - my 16H (WD) chugs away much the same as it has done since I built it in the mid 1990's but now - rather suddenly, it doesn't pull cleanly and will not slow-run without about having the air-choke half closed.  It has loads of compression,

Engine sprocket nut torque and tightening procedure.

On late '40s garden gate singles (ES2 & 30 Inter), what would be a good torque setting to aim for when tightening  the engine sprocket nut?   And what is the best way to secure the sprocket while tightening the nut?

Hi. 

I am interested in finding a 1950 500 International registration PMU3 
Last registered in 2004 according to dvla. Does anyone know where it is?
