The Norton Owners Club National Rally, TheFry’s Chocolate Rally, will take place on 4th to 7th July 2025.
The venue with be Keynsham Rugby Football Club, Bristol Road. BS31 2BE.
Keynsham was the manufacturing centre for Fry’s Chocolate and was taken over by Cadbury’s in 1955. Chocolate production ceased in 2011; the site museum is open to the public. The Fry’s Five Boys Chocolate bar showed expressions of Desperation, Pacification, Expectation, Acclamation, and Realisation. Words which accurately describe our exploits with Norton Motorcycles.
Our rally hosts this year will be the Bristol Branch who will be arranging a choice of rides out including at least one through the Cheddar Gorge. The Branch is also making plans for on site activities, a little reminiscent of rallies in the past! The branch still owns a tug of war rope!
This is a camping rally with space for tents, camper vans and caravans. For those wishing for greater creature comforts, there are a number of B&B’s and hotels within the vicinity.
We will be entertained by live music on Saturday evening. Food will be available on site.
We have arranged for people to stay over on Sunday night and travel back home on Monday, enabling us to fully enjoy the fun and games on Sunday afternoon.
