Hi everyone.
Does anybody have any experience of the belt drive primary kit marketed by RGM "belt drive kit fits mag/dyno singles with clutch internals part no 05028"?
Most of the clutch parts in my '48 ES2 special are worn and I'm faced with looking for replacements. I'm wondering if fitting a kit like this would be an improvement, other than being able to run a dry primary.
Would the clutch operation be improved and most importantly would the kit fit in standard primary chain cases without modification?
Any opinions welcome
Many thanks
Graham

Although the worm is a little "slow" and a control lever pivot with long centres is called for, I honestly don't think it's possible to improve upon the action of the Norton clutch. The single row chain never gives trouble either.
