Noticed a little line running down from the lever so picked up a seal from local bike shop in Christchurch last week - same as the one on the NOC shop.
Is it simply a job of removing the indicator and lever, prising out the old seal, cleaning up and replacing the seal?
I thought the service I had done last year when I first bought the bike had replaced this but they may have used the old style rather than the quad/x style (?) seal.
Small list of jobs I'm building up to do over easter....
thanks
Paul

I think you will have to remove the outer cover and strip the selector mechanism to remove the change shaft and access the o ring seal . while in there you can remove and properly inspect the return spring for developing ( almost invisible dead stick) fractures and set the pawl clearance to give the best gearchange action. While in there you could also swap the inner case securing nuts for ones with reduced hexagons to ease future work and reprofile the clutch lifting cam and re-set the angle to give a better clutch action. The Kickstart return spring can be changed if it is weak or not securely located in the shaft. A quadring KS seal is a good move. The list gets bigger!. I will try to get your plunger to you soon.
