My 1928 CS1 engine is complete, but there is a lot of backlash between the vertical shaft spline and the bottom bevel. It seems like the wear is in the bottom bevel where the spline runs. The shaft splines look good.

Does anyone know for sure when the camshafts marked QLL (both inlet and exhaust) were used?
Were they always the same for M50, ES2 and 19S models in any given year?

I am attempting to assemble my single spring clutch..The centre spring nut I have is incorrect I believe. Has anyone got one that they could measure the overall length of it please.
