norton navigator frame braces

I haven't got a spare set of these and they do seem to be missing on virtually all De Luxe frames you see. They will be easy to make as you only need to weld a bracket on a tube to accept the dzus fastener spring, cut the tube to length, flatten the ends and drill two holes. If you use your own side panels as templates to locate the dzus fastener then you know that the fastener will fit. I have found a few of these braces at auto jumbles in the past but invariably they needed some adjustment to make fit-i.e a few clouts with the big hammer.

Don't forget when making that they are handed.

I just happen to be working on a De Luxe Jubilee so here are some approx measurements. I make the tube 3/4" outside diameter and the length 13" between. It's a bit awkward to measurement as the side cover bracket gets in the way. Here's a picture of the actual bracket. You may already know all this.
