In the process of building a Jubilee from a box of bits and now confused. I have 3 barrels and 3 heads.
Barrels id numbers 20749/20747/lh-rh 20717?
Heads X 20717rh-am X20715lh-am also 22941rh
I believe x20717/15 are Jubilee is the barrels 20749/47 are these the correct ones? Plus is 22941 also Jubilee? as this is in better condition.
Please can anybody advise as desperate.
Regards
Kay

The heads marked 'X'(num…
The heads marked 'X'(number) are for the Jubilee model.
22941rh is probably for a Navigator (not Jubilee) - but might also be for an Electra depending on a couple of points.
Separate cylinder barrels are for a Jubilee - the Navigator (& Electra) has a cylinder block.
The L/H cylinder barrel has regular finning (above the primary chaincase).
The other barrel (R/H) has the bottom fins cut away to allow for the timing cover - see photo.
As Patrick says - make sure the heads & barrels match..
The barrels should have spigots at the top, and the heads should have recesses to match.
Drop me a line at lighttwins@nortonownersclub.org for any more info.

That is one good looking Jubilee and very much a credit to someone. Green & Dove Grey do go together so well - I wonder why Norton produced so few in these colours. Shame it isn't BRG as it would make a perfect match for my MGBs.

Hello there,
These numbers are casting numbers and in the case of the cylinder heads I believe that X20715 and X20717 are Jubilee heads. The other head is probably from a Navigator.
Measure the bore of the barrels to be certain- 60mm bore size is Jubilee-. I checked a couple of spare barrels here but the number is not clear on either of them. I was once told that a casting number commencing with 20 indicated a Jubilee part but I wouldn't want to swear to that info.
Also check that the heads and barrels match - some have spigots on the barrels and some don't.
