Hi, Like a fool I've been tinkering with my Amal monoblock 375/48 this afternoon and have rather lost my way with the basic settings for the Pilot Air Screw and the Throttle Stop Screw.
Evening all. Just seen an Electra for sale on carandclassic.com. As I collect photos from ads for future reference, on taking a closer look at this one, it appears to show an inline oil filter mounted below the oil tank.
After many years as a Norton owner - Commandos for 20+ years and a 1952 ES2 for the last seven - I'm thinking about going for something lighter and have always fancied an Electra (coincidentally my wife's name). I completely rebuilt the ES2 when I
I have managed to break the fuel tap on my 62 Navigator. I have sheared the end that attaches the brass valve to the tap. I will try and repair or make a new brass valve piece.
Can someone confirm for me that the angled end of the guard faces to the rear of the bike, if it does fit that way around.

How do I remove the ratchet from the crankshaft?Is it screwed on?

Can anyone provide photos showing the detail of:
1. Where the centre stand stop fits on the frame and its purpose;
2. How / where the centre stand spring fits (both ends); and
