My Jubilee's Amal 375 monobloc carb has sprung a leak in the body and a new one is around £250.
Has anyone ever fitted a Mikuni carb to a Jubilee? There may be a problem with the choke arrangements as my model is a 1962 Deluxe and the enclosure may get in the way.

I agree with Roger...
I agree with Roger that buying a second-hand 375 carb body is the way to go because I have found my Jubilee to be very sensitive to carb settings, If you go off piste with another type of carb you may face unexpected and high costs for re-jetting etc. Used Amal carb parts are common on ebay and I have bought them in the past you obviously need to make sure you get the correct bore size (25/32") which is not that common. My Jubilee uses the standard 375/43 set up so a '43' body is best.

Would also say the 375/36 - that’s the spec for de-luxe model but works fine on a Std. Struggled to find a 43 for my Std so modded the 36 with different cap to take a cable choke fitting

John, I have a collection of old Monoblocs, mostly of Norton origin.
If you get stuck, PM me and I'll see if I have something suitable.

Jubilee Carbs
Thank you Michael but as another correspondent says, the Jubilee uses the less common bore of 25/32 (0.781 inch).
I have been looking on ebay but nothing suitable has turned up as yet.
I went on the Jubilee last night for an 11 mile run and this morning was surprised to find no evidence of a leak. Maybe one of the fibre washers that I had disturbed has bedded down and sealed itself.
Thanks to all who replied.

One of the mikuni sellers…
One of the mikuni sellers offered to jet a mikuni carb for me as they hadn’t got the info to supply one, can’t remember if it was Allen’s or Motocarb. I tried a concentric but couldn’t get it to run right so bit the bullet and bought a new mono block from Surrey cycles - haven’t looked back!

Have you considered ebay, or similar? There are 375s and parts for them listed, that would be an option
