Nortons - General

My wife and I are looking to attend the International Rally in France this year but find bookings have now closed ( NB we were unable to commit to the rally dates until very recently).

Advice required please.
i have just fitted a new kickstart spring to my upright box, when installed the axel steel bush turns when kicked over so obviously loosing any tension, what am I doing wrong. Any help appreciated please.

Hi all,
Eventually got it running after finding both spark plugs faulty.  Reputable supplier, reputable make, but hey!

 .... does anybody know what glue to use to attach the small plastic Norton badge/medallion to the hole in the headlight shell?
I have tried a few glues, including contact glue, instant glue but it just falls out.

I've often seen a technique for removing bushes from blind holes involving a well-fitting bar and oil.
