We’re still looking for a semi-permanent parking-home for our ELWB Mercedes Sprinter Hi-Top. This needs to be reasonably centrally located (say within or close to the borders of the M4 / M5 / southern M6 / M1 ‘square’ to ensure reasonable access for our national events, and be reasonably accessible at any time, though drivers collecting the van could provide notice if necessary.
Reasonable security would be required, but we don’t need parking inside Fort Knox – a farm or builder’s yard would be fine. Inside storage would be ideal, but is not necessary.
A key can be provided so if necessary the ‘storer’ can move it when required.
The NOC provides full insurance.
If you can help, please g.i.t. with Peter Scatchard (vicechairman@nortonownersclub.org, call/text 07775 631 044)
Bodywork Survey
As the events van has reached more than 200,000 miles (but is now fitted with a new engine), the bodywork is also in need of some attention, though whether more than cosmetic we’re not in a postion to say. Is there anyone out there who could survey our van and advise on what body-work attention it needs / should / could receive, please? If you can carry out the agreed works that might be a benefit too, but at this stage it’s idenifying the extent of the works that’s the priority.
Again, contact Peter Scatchard (contact details above) if you can help.
