Up until this weekend I was aware of 3 styles of cylinder head fitted to ES2, 19R/S, 50 during the fifties. Circa 1950 it was still the iron head. Around 1955, possibly a little earlier, there was the Al-fin head.

Hello, everyone, I'm looking for a speedo drive that if i turn anticlock the pinion on the wheel the cable to speedo turn clockwise.

I'm looking for somewhere that I can take my Norton ES2 forks for refurb - I live near Stafford

I have the mudguard and almost everything on. The problem is I cannot get the back wheel in. I can take off the back part of the mudguard but cannot bolt it back together when the wheel goes in. There is not enough space for the spanners. 

My ‘55 parts book lists the speedo cable as B2/552, I need one so ordered one from the club listed as B2/552 4’6”  but I can’t see any route that makes the cable long enough to reach the speedo, what route is it supposed to take and any idea how l
