Shorten (extreme) long roadholders
Today I bought a pair of roadholder forks on an autojumble, including yokes. The yokes have a width of 7" and the fork measures (from top of nut, to bottom of the lower slider) 31,5".

Does anyone know of any firms that can safely and effectively remove rust from a petrol tank and re-seal it?
The back seam on my Dominator 99 is weeping. Can you please recommend a firm to repair it, ideally within 100 miles or so of Salisbury where I live so I can take it there. Would just lining it be a possible long term solution?
I am looking to register a Norton Model 99 Deluxe manufactured late 1959 it has a Northamptonshire registration of URP 703. URP was issued around the end of 1959/early 1960.
I'm working on the oil tank cap for the early 1950's bikes (ES2 / Model 7) and have found that the brass "nut" that the butterfly bolt screws into is cracked. I've just tried adding a photo but a warning message has just come up?
Hi there, having finished the rebuild of my 57 International I find I have a mystery nut and bolt left over.
So, here's an interesting one. It is probably my insecurity, fed by inexperience, but 'when in doubt, don't cross the road' as we say here in the Netherlands. We'll not like that, we do it in Dutch: 'Bij twijfel niet oversteken.'
