Metzler RoadTec 01 do they same sizing.
I'm more interested in grip than tyre life, do they stick better than the Avons?

With a Commando ,you get used to vibration issues, issolastics or not. I find that you go round the bike on a regular basis tightening up Jubilee clips.
Hi Guys, I've had this problem for 3 years now....and done nothing about it...ahem...Gearbox works well, in 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th but when I change into 5th...I clearly engage another gear, but absolutely nothing happens, in that the revs don't drop
I've just noticed a steady drip of oil from the kickstarter spindle.
Keen eyed readers will notice that I have posted here before on problems with my 1972 750 Commando crankshaft. The one which came with the bike was ruined beyond repair (QV).
Can anybody give any recommendations for somewhere in the IOM to have the rear wheel on my Mk 1 850 sorted out ?

The bike was built as a MH Replica PR with MH big valve head, 4S, 10-1 piston & Rita EI with 4S advance curve.
Now, it’s got FullAuto head, std pistons, 4S.
