The NOC spares shop is showing out of stock. Anybody know of alternative sources? Alternatively, can anyone tell me the thread of the 2 tapped holes in the sprocket so I can make one?

Factory sprocket puller
Hi Ian,
The forces involved can sometimes be considerable. So the factory puller is like this. With a considerable central extract bolt, high tensile caps crews, like the long ones holding rocker covers.
Protection for the end of the crankshaft.

... I'd tried Cycle, BSF and UNF but not Whitworth so that drawing makes everything clear. I'll dig around in my piles of obsolete fasteners.
To tell the truth I'm slightly surprised that a coarse thread has been used for something that has to take significant force. I seem to remember that the corresponding Commado item used 5/16" UNF.

Just made one...
... roughly following Peter's drawing and the sprocket came off easily. I suspect if I'd just pulled it by hand it would have come off!
Thank goodness for boxes full of surplus nuts, bolts etc - I had a pair of Allen screws just the right length.
