Is anyone going to the TT or MGP?

When I go to the Manx GP, these days called the Classic TT at the End of August, I visit the Norton reunion at Laxey. There is usually a BBQ and an enamel badge. Also an opportunity to ask Norton owners why they are using Jap plugs? Worth going just for that! Sometimes a crowd from Austria there too.

I'm booked to go with my two sons, Not sure what bike to take,may be a 99 ,but more likely an old Ducati and a -------scooter !. What day is the reunion?.

I am going to the MGP and on a Norton unless it plays up before and then it will be a B44 Victor Special instead.

Reunion Tuesday 26th August, Robert from 3pm. As usual at the Shore Hotel, Laxey. Lot of narrow twisty lanes to get there.

Sadly, I will don't be there this year, because they have something they call Oldtimers TT at the same time. So I'll only  be racing my Manx instead. Wish you all good luck and better weather than it was at the TT this year.

as it was considerably cheaper I flew over earlier and the Commando was follow in a chums van. Unfortunately he rang on Thursday to advise that try as they may, they could not squeeze my bike into the van. Much knashing of teeth and Anglo Saxon reflections at this point ! 

I do however have access to two wheels so will be there on my Hinckley three cylinder Norton.
