Model 30 valve guide seal

I have a 1955 Model 30 International that has an exhaust valve guide seal that is blown (see attached photo). I cant find the part number in the manual. Need help in what part number to order and who might have the part. Also is someone still selling the hairpin spring removal tool. suppose I'll need that to replace the seal.

As I know it Fred. You will have to look for similars from other machines. I assume the valve guide has got the provision to hold the seal in place? With regard to the spring tongs, don't see them too often and quite pricey.  For the non professional a simple pair of plates with a bolt through the centre to pull the ends of the spring together is sufficient for home use.  I will supply you with details if your up for making some.

That's an interesting non standard idea.
Normal valve guide oil seals are to prevent oil from dribbling down between stem and guide.  But Inters have no rocker box reservoir to supply such oil.  The valve guide lubrication tubes supply oil to the valve stems half way along the guide.
Exhaust gas pressure then tends to push oil up from below.  So the seal must be there to restrain gas pressure from below.  I would have thought that was probably a lost cause.
It might reduce air flow pulling too much oil down the inlet guide clearances.
Most if not all my Inter oil leak down the head is from oil blown up the exhaust guide, probably excess clearance, and not from cam box seals.  I added little cut off valves to the tubes to reduce oil supply to valve guides but new guide are on my to-do list.

I've used this during my 20 years of cammy ownership. Works fine as you can adjust its fit rather than the tongs. I have access to tongs but  feel they are better suited to track side  replacement.  I can sketch up and provide dimensions if you need.

I had over oiling problems from the inlet guide before I restricted the flow.  A top seal on the inlet might have reduced air coming down the guide and pulling oil with it. 

But a proper seal on top of the exhaust would surely result in exhaust gas going up the oil feed pipe into the cam box?!!  So the valve guide would lose lubrication and the cam box pressure would force oil out of the valve rocker seals?
