Grease nipples
Hi Nathan.
I can't see any greasing points on the forks. How are you going to lubricate the spindles? just a thought.

Nathan, that's a nice bike and if you have built the forks you have done well. But I don't understand "pics below" - are you looking for comment?
My comment would be whether other owners of girder forked bikes would expect the two horizontal links (two each side) to be parallel? (allowing for photography distortion). I ask this as a question and I am thinking of the effect on wheel trail.

Evening gents, I did not…
Evening gents,
I did not build the forks but was wanting to see if anyone had an idea of what I had? The forks not being original to the bike including the horizontal links not being even and missing the rebound springs found on other Nortons.
My post was not allowing me to load all my images so I was forced to make two posts…;)
My other post was answered with a "1930s Web set-up” with all pivot points having grease fittings and one at the bottom of the main spring mounting area.
I have found some early pics of Velocettes and a couple Triumph racers with horizontal links spaced like mine…is this a moot point?
