Last winter I coated some chrome and paintwork with ACF 50 , I used the aerosol foam and the liquid small bottles. It did a fantastic job ,and even dissolved some rust back to bare metal and got corroded electrical connections clean . But now I want to remove it and there is a problem !.Its dried to a hard laquer and is resisting me. Any ideas as to a solvent ?.

Lead free petrol. A possible alternative would be solvent brake cleaner. I saw some for sale at Kempton but when I asked for some at a motor spares place it seemed to ge a more 'environmentally friendly' detergent type...O think.
