hydraulic bike bench slippy

Pushing my bikes on and off the bench  is a bit hazardous   due to  any oil drips that  make it very slippy,   Has anyone found a good solution. ?    Get rid of the Norton ?.

Robert ; I painted mine with an epoxy floor paint and sprinkled sand on it before it set.  It was ok but broke down after a while.  I then got some of those plastic click together tiles trimmed to size and glued them down. That worked. Cleans easy and has a grain which gives grip even if they are a bit oily.

I've got some carpet tiles  and tackifier solution to stick them down ,this allows them to be lifted for an annual scrub ,   or some garage floor  sandy  paint  , so a choice,  thanks  guys, don't know why I didn't think of that.

You can purchase anti-slip tape or pads from Amazon or eBay and cut and stick to required areas.  I’ve it them on my bike stand ramp and they are perfect.

I simply clean the bench whenever it gets oily. I also use a tray under engine and gearbox which collects oil. Would never assemble anything dirty.

Me too I use a drip tray and clean the bench periodically with brake cleaner and paper towel.
