Hi again, does anybody know what diameter tube the lower front mudguard stay was made of. I was going to buy a standard one and modify it but it appears that no one has even a repro so i am going to have to make one. Just not sure of diameter. Thanks, Colin.

Thanks Alan. i can get on and get some tube. I did get some 9/16 but thought it may be to heavy as weight saving was the name of the game with this model. Thanks again, Colin.

500T lower mudguard stay

photos as promised. Tube is half inch,
flats on front mounting are outside of tube/fork legs, stand bracket at rear if 3 3/4” wide by 3/4” deep with slotted lug. Hope this is helpful. Regards, Alan
