have just bought 1962 es2. the distributor is partialy dismantled. I need the sequence of the points and insulating washers if any one can help. The maintenance manual is not specific enough.

The thing to focus on is that the moving part of the points must not come into metal to metal electrical contact with any other part except the incoming power lead, the condenser, and the other tungsten contact. Sound obvious but I'm sure we have all  got the T shirt.

In Chrome

Left lick on the file name under attachments and your browser should save it in the selected folder.

Right clicking just gets you to 'save link as' which does allow you to download the file unless you are using a download manager you can copy and paste the link to.

Hi John, Chrome ??, I can only do rust. Will a squirt of WD 40 thro the ventillation holes in the back  make a difference?.

Chrome was on my puter , now lost in the mists of time . I still use an old keyboard , and a mouse. My IT wizzard has had to go back to school.

The ES2 does not have a distributor (18D1) the Dommie does it is called an 18D2. Or am I just being pedantic? (Perhaps they should always be called dizzies as that is far more descriptive) By the way if either of the machines has 12V I can put a Boyer electronic ignition into these units.
