Footrests and spacers

Has anyone got a picture of a side stand--particularly its lug, I have just had the frame powder coated and don't really want to weld one on.

Typically--The pictures are just not quite the view I need. I plan to fabricate one but need to have a really good look at the lug and how it fits onto the frame. If there is anyone with one they would be prepared to photgrtaph I would be very grateful.

Hello Patrick,

that is my plan it is the specifics of the bracket I am trying to work out. I wish I had thought of it before the frame was powder coated. From what I can make out from pictures they attach using the bottom front student but I am curious as to how to stop it turning

There are two useful studs down there; one is the bottom engine stud and the other is the front down tube/bottom rails. I attached the bracket to the engine stud and angled it backwards so it locks against the spacer in the down tube. It works fine for me but if you were in any doubt you could secure the bracket to both the studs.

My camera has departed to the happy hunting ground so I can't take any pictures of mine but you have overcome bigger challenges so far with your Navvi.

I hfear I have another challenge on th cards. My cylinder block is worn out (I fear my overenthusiastic use of hone trying to clear out marks in the bore has not helped) and I bought a pair of liners from the club. My engineer tells me that none were orginally listed for the ngagiatr and he doubts whether they can be fitted due to the thin walls resulting from the flats machined to let the liners clear the craksase central web.
