hi all.
I wonder if someone could point me in the right direction luckily enough for my lovely Norton 500 I have lots of historical information but there is a gap and it could be quite an interesting gap.
So far, I found out that in the 60s it was owned by AJ Teasdale. I understand he was based in West Lancashire And wrote an article called vintage Winter for motorcyclist illustrated In The Winter of 1966-67.
I would really like to get hold of this original magazine which I have Photocopies of as attached. It was written in the Ormskirk region when the snow came down.
Now the interesting bit, I also understand he was a Teacher and hobby road racer and was a member of Darley Moor Road Racing Club at the same time with my bike.
Also it shows the same name AJ Teasdale as a did not finish in the Isle of Man TT. ( Very limited info on this just a name match)
Did anyone know him and is this gentleman still with us? Or did anyone know him?
from what I can see so far his address was:
14 Moss Delph Lane Aughton Green.Aughton..Ormskirk.
Does anyone have an original copy of this magazine?
Would be brilliant to receive any information on the gentleman or the magazine?
And I've attached some pictures of the editorial.
cheers Matt
