I'm looking to add a 'leathered toolbox' / Pannier Bag to my Big 4. I've got hold of a vintage toolbox that has never been fitted to a bike. I've looked at the 1928 parts book and can see a number of parts called;
Part No 5662 - Pannier Bag Attachment Pin Plate
Part No 5663 - Pannier Bag Carrier Stay
Part No 5664 - Pannier Bag Carrier Stay Clip
My preference is to find orginal period parts but I'm guessing they will be nigh on impossible to find so may have to fabricate my own. I'm wondering if anyone can supply pictures of thier bikes with toolboxes fitted so I can get a better idea of how these part should look and how they locate on the bike.
