Hi, wondering if anyone's come across the Wassell Evolution range of carbs? it seems it may be time for me to get some new carbs for my 850 Mk2, and while considering the decision I found these which are almost a direct reproduction of the Amal 600 and 900 series Concentrics. The build quality is of course claimed to be better than Amal, they are cheaper, and parts are fully interchangeable with Amals. I don't know quite how new they are but it seems they've been around long enough now.
I'd be interest to know if anyone has tried them, and what the verdict is?

I see a few Wassells on classic scrambles bikes so they must be reasonably good.

I've found Burlen's customer service support for Amals to be second to none.

Wassell only deal with the trade, not with retail customers, so if you need help you are reliant on your dealer. Compare the extensive technical support available on the Burlen site.
