Tyre size commando.

Hi if you have the correct guard stays for '71 or later then you can fit a 410x19 if you are running TT100's you can run 410x19 or over here[ New Zealand] you fit a 100/90x19 TT100GP, the GP compound is softer [don't use on the rear] and size wise is in between the 360x19 & 410x19 so "points" a little nicer. I have a 360x19 TT100 fitted to my '69 Fastback [narrow guard stay s and slightly lower bridge.

The reason that Norton  fitted the 410x19 front tyre was that they got a deal on tyres from Dunlop. Peter Williams explained that fitting the smaller tyre made the Commando's handle better.
