Tool kit / 1960 Model 50

Forums

Was there a tool kit delivered with this bike? What was in it?), and where did one keep it whilst riding normally?

Thanks.

It went in the tool-tray under the seat funnily enough, it included enough tools to do routine maintenance tasks such as tappet, steering and ignition adjustment, puncture repairs and tyre changes, in a canvas roll. The actual contents are listed in the spares book and the kit was not the same as the twins had.

Yes, sounds logical ;-)

I just looked at the parts list and realised that my "fixed" seat should actually be retained by two wingnuts (and hence can be removed, to access this easily) and not just two normal nuts that are currently holding it on..

Kevin:

When you got the seat off, was there a tool kit in the tray?

If yes, what was in it?
