Hello, I am a new member here as well as a new Norton owner.
I have acquired one of my late father's old racers and would like some help in identifying some of the parts on the bike as it seems to have been put together with some non stock stuff...
The bike has a wideline featherbed frame from a dominator 88. The engine is a 750 Atlas lll. I'm not sure on the year of the frame, but the engine is a '68 I believe. The magneto is a Joe Hunt. The rims are Akront aluminum. And while it has a conical Manx rear drum brake, the front brake has been changed to what looks like a Suzuki gt 750 dual drum unit. There are quite a few more modifications inside and out.
My biggest questions are: 1 How to identify the forks. I'm not sure whether they are roadholders or if they have been changed out. 2 Could anyone identify the tanks, oil and petrol by sight if I posted an image. Also looking for identification of the fairing and seat...
I will post a picture to start. I'm hoping that someone will have the knowledge to help me as I begin this project...
As a side note, the bike does run and is rideable as is but I would like to do at least a cosmetic restoration...
Unfortunately I do not seem to be able to attach an image... If you think you may be able to help, please respond with an email address that I could send images to. Or advise on attaching images...

Perhaps your image is too large, can you try with a smaller one?
