Hi Everybody,
I am planning to take my 72 750 to France. I have a property there. I have been off the bike twice in the last year in London (deisel spill and and mad person indicating right and turning sharp left). The roads are quiet and no potholes!
I need advice from anyone who has done this on the following
1) How to unregister the bik with the DVLA
2) How to go about getting a Carte Technique for an old bike
3) Any fellow Nortoneers in the Haute Vienne/Limoges area
Cheers
Nick

Hi Nick
There is no problem registering your norton in France
Look up FFVE on your computer it explanes everything
I live in france and have registered several old bikes and cars from uk
Unfortuantly I do not live near by but in Normandy
If you have problems you can mail me at jrbritbikes7@gmail.com

Some great roads in France…
Some great roads in France, a pity they have dropped the speed limit!

I would suggest you don't…
I would suggest you don't declare it permanently exported until such time as you have it registered in France. This allows it to be returned easily and cost free if you have any problems.
