Hi there,
This is just for a bit of info for those who have a Lucas Mo1 but the bike won't start. I have a 57 inter and before fitting the magneto I gave it a clean and renewed the pick up brush and HT lead. The mag produced a spark with just flick of the spindle so I was confident it was ok. Once the bike was finished and fuelled there was not a pop, nothing. Bump starting with a squirt of easy start still didn't produce any sign of life. Double checked the timing and all seems correct but still no go. I eventually concluded that as the windings were producing a spark with the plug out of the head it could well be the capacitor but on this magneto the cap is buried with the windings. As a test I bought a 100nf capacitor and strapped it across the points, a couple of kicks and it fired up (briefly) but the first signs of life at least. Unfortunately with the spinning points this set up won't last but it did prove where the fault lies.
There's an Easycap to fit.

Dave cooper, you’re right,…
Dave cooper, you’re right, they do a version of the Easycap that does fit the M01. The cap I fitted across the points worked ok and I did manage a short ride but I will order the easycap version.
