MkIII.Out for a run and seems one pot is dropping out when things get hot. I looked for loose connections but same thing. Replaced the plugs mid run,no change. Resistance checked coils, which were very recently new, ok. It happens after about 5mls running and if started cool the next day everything is initially ok until things heat up. Copper HT leads,NGK caps, Boyer, single amal conc.
I am inclined to nevertheless think coil. A car years ago had similar symptoms. Any tips Gents

To be honest Tony I'm not…
To be honest Tony I'm not sure which cylinder is at fault. I was following process of elimination and fitted a spare coil which measured up ok however, started rough and ran badly. The spare coil now measured less than 6kohms, bin. I think I'll assemble back to original and try your suggestion.

When I had similar problems I made up some extra long HT leads so I could run the left cylinder from the right coil and visa versa. Of course this only works with electronic ignition working on the wasted spark principle.
If the problem swap sides, then it has to be the coil as they are connected in series and you are using different HT leads and caps.
If it stays the same side then it is the spark plug or lower down ...
