Im looking for any information on a Norton 500cc reg no JCG557 most likely an ES2 going by the attached photo.
A friend and colleague of mine is looking for information on his late uncles Norton, message from him as below;
Hi folks, my mum showed me this picture of my uncle (who is no longer with us), as he attempts to start his Norton Reg No. JCG557.
I’m assuming the picture was taken some time in the 60’s judging by the clothes. I’ve ran the number plate through the Gov website and it says it’s a Norton 500cc and it was last MOT’d in 2008 and was taxed until 2009, so amazingly his old bike may actually still exist.
I’d love to find out if this bike still exists, where it is now and if anybody has any later pictures of her they could share with me.?? Or indeed any info you have on this bike, that myself and my family can put with the only picture we have.
