International 350 engine year identification

Forums

Hello I am wanting to identify the year of my international 350. Stamped on the left of the crank with 4024. From research it suggests 350s had their own numbering and this suggests the engine is somewhere between 1929 to 1936. Is there any more guidance on this or precision on which year?

Hi Camilla,       yes you are correct about the 350 models having their own set of numbers. This included Model 50 and 55 push-rod OHV and CJ and Model 40 OHC for the all of 1930s. As a rough guess I would think your engine is 1934/5, but to get a definite date you need to contact Chris Streather the pre-war records officer whose contact details are listed in the club Roadholder magazine.
