Hello Folks
I'm wondering what the thread size is where a garden gate Inter wine glass fuel tap screws onto the boss on the underside of the tank? I'm assuming they are all the same but if it helps, my tank is a steel pie crust Manx type. I'm a rank amateur when it comes to identifying thread types so thought it safer to ask.

Sorry this reply is so late, but I missed your post. The thread size for these is 1.125 inch BSC (cycle) thread which is 26 TPI. I am not sure what the Indian made tanks use so be careful if you have one of these. Just by the way, this is the same size as the bottom yoke stem as fitted to long Roadholder tele forks.
