Just make sure you follow Boyers instructions on timing the Boyer, this means using a timing light and adjusting the Boyer so it is on the full advance mark WHEN the Boyer has stopped advancing. If you are using a micro digital Boyer , use resistor spark plug caps.

First you need 12V on the bike, and A reg 1 or the traditional Aener set up. It is recomended that you fit a 2MC capacitor (or equivalent) to help with flat battery starting.

Then you can retain the two 6V Wipac coils as a) best fit under the tank, b) long term reliable. The Wipac points plate you are taking off is 3" dia so you beed the specific one from Boyer which comes in the correct kit. You can then find that the rotating bit fouls on the rear of this pickup plate. Proper answer is to have the taper on the rotor re machined so that the rotor will go further into the engine say by a couple mm (shock horror foreign measuments)!
