Hi,
just replacing kickstart pawl. Removed the mainshaft nut, and it appears to have remains of a seal attached it.
Where is this from? I have looked at Andover Norton gearbox diagram, and can't see it.
Any suggestions?

Bearings are availiable with built in seals that can be removed if not needed . Should have been removed.
