Hello All,
Like others, e.g. https://www.nortonownersclub.org/forum/it-had-happen and https://www.nortonownersclub.org/forum/wiring-recommendations, I've been struggling to find 4.7mm crimp bullets of this uninsulated type.
Searching using the word 'imperial', I'm guessing that In old Lucas days these would have been sized 3/16", I stumbled on these https://www.rgmnorton.co.uk/buy/10-imperial-crimp-on-bullet-connectors_2160.htm stocked by RGM. Their Part No.152476-1.
I've just received some as supplied in strips of 10 for a rewire job I'm planning. Not tried them yet but they measure fine at 4.7mm.
I know Al Osborn favours this type and I've always found them easy and reliable to work with.

Michael, a fair comment, but the only UK supplier I've found with any stock!

I get my bullets etc from....
... my local supplier, ALM. They have 4.7mm bullets, sleeves and everything else at good prices. I solder mine. https://www.almsolutions.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=97_188&products_id=2131

But it did give me an idea. Perhaps each month or so, "the usual suppliers" and others might like to promote various bits of hard-to-find stuff here on the website, with the usual "quote code # and get x%" discount?
Might help to revitalise our somewhat dated and jaded "Services" page.
