Hi all
just done oil change on my rebuilt engine& noticed oil globules seem to be coming out a lot faster than the oil! I thought they might have been water based but they don't look like it, I wonder if it could be graphite from the Graphogen build paste that I used?
I also used a new cam break in oil that came with the cam, perhaps that's mixed with the graphogen?
As always, TIA for your comments.

You should be able to see whether these globules are water. If so, could rainwater have found a way into the tank?
If it's oil/carbon black sludge, maybe your engine oil isn't a good type, or the cylinder head is getting even hotter than they usually do: weak mixture? Timing off?
I've seen oil turn into black rubbery grains in the rocker box of an overheating engine with cast iron head.

Not water, & not sludge I don't think. I've emailed Graphogen & asked their thoughts, I'll message back when they answer.

Condensation water. Formed by short runs in our cold climate ,made worse by breathers going to oil tanks.Or a blocked tank breather.
