hi there, ive a 73, 750 which has a number stamped on the right hand wheel mount lug, 00116, cant seem to find what it means, does any one cast any light on it, cheers

niether have i jan, stamp looks uniform enough, swing arm as the gusset strenghtening plates welded in, so guessing its a later swing arm, (all being that the swing arm is bent) i,ll try to put a pic on when ive sussed out how to do this lol, not good with computing, much better with a spanner in my hand

that would explain it, this commando was in deed a interpol, it was rescued from a scrap yard along with 3 others from saudi arabia and they were all interpols which were brought back here to england 1994 ish. i bought one and restored it then, cant say i never noticed the number back then though,

is it stamped in after part made, like an engine number? I am guessing that it is not significant, as never seen this mentioned anywhere before.
