Mirrors

After fitting several different mirrors i have bit the bullet and fitted 2 Halcyon  mirrors. Made of stainless steel with a proper bar  expansion fitting and replaceable glasses ,they are the bizz. Not cheap but worth the money. 

....to have the mirrors pointing behind you? Bar end mirrors stop you chucking the plot against the garage wall! 

I too use an Halcyon mirror and have never had a problem with it in over 5 years since it was fitted.

It folds in nicely (so as to avoid garage walls), it's easy to adjust for the correct line of sight, strong and corrosion proof - highly recommended.

Also use Halycon bar end mirror on Dommie. To me perfect but good luck with whatever you decide. Cheers. Hugh

Depends on what type of handlebars you have. The straight Vincent handlebar works well with bar end mirrors. Took a 150 miles trip on a Victor Special with "traditional" mirrors today. Besides having to tighten them halfway, they vibrated so the view was blurry. But the B44 vibrates much more than the Comet.

I think mines an Oxford bar end mirror, small and discrete but works well enough. If you just fit one - you can still throw it against the garage wall!
