Pistons

I remember having to mark inside the skirts to avoid mixing them up ,always best to return back to the same place , also important with cam followers, con rods and flywheels !. I dont think there is a front or back .

Sometimes inside the piston you will see a reinforced part on one inner face in the form of a "lozenge". This is designed to go towards the thrust face/ the rear.
