Took the head off my Mk 2A this winter to get exhaust threads fixed etc, now appear to have fallen at the last fence. Seems I messed up fitting the coils . Now i,m pretty sure they are as per manual, but two Sparx black boxes later I,ve hit the buffers if thats not mixing metaphores too much. Still no spark . My prowess in this department stops with a circut tester . My question is there any one in the Swindon/Wilts area willing/able to lend a hand Plenty of tea and biscuits on offer.
Why two black boxes?

I Assume...
....The SPARX black box is the ignition amplifier. Fitting this in line with the instructions would have got sparks. Trusting of course that your coils are in good order.

... have you managed to destroy them? Although people talk about electrics being complicated they're actually simpler than many mechanical problems if you address them logically.
I'm too far away to offer practical help however.....
