Hi
I'm at the start of rebuilding a 750 SS and want to know what colour to paint the barrels. All the photos show silver barrels apart from one pic of a tangerine option tanked version with black barrels - and mine has the tangerine tank. Currently the barrels are black paint - over silver!
Any body with info please

paint for barrels
cerakote is a good process for painting barrels. vapour blast first then paint with cerakote. In a previous post in a forum this was posted:

All the SS bikes I have seen have black painted barrels. I have seen Commando's with silver painted barrels ,but it does not seem so practical as an oil leak will stain the paint. I don't think its relevent . Just do what you prefer.
