Does anyone know or can anyone tell, if these are actually for the Manxman? I understood it had a unique exhaust.

The hanger flange
I asked the vendor about the flange and received this reply
"This set is not embossed with the norton logo."

Photo Evidence
The attached photos are from this sellers first eBay Advert. As you can clearly see......one is sporting the Norton logo on both sides of the flange. Of interest is that the other silencer is very similar in structure but around 10cm shorter and does not have the logo. Perhaps it comes from an AMC bike.
This ebay sale was ended abruptly, yesterday, and the same seller is now offering two Manxman style silencers of equal length but without the Norton logos.
Bearing in mind the very expensive postal rates from the states this sale may not be the bargain it looks. If you are looking for a set of reproduction Manxman silencers then contact Tony Curzon.

data on Manxman silencer
I believe Anna Dixon looked closely into the Manxman silencer and exhaust pipe issue, so I think it would be worth checking with her

data on Manxman silencer
I will. But am waiting to hear if the vendor has two that are embossed first.
I have a Manxman needing restoration.

Proper Gear
Attachment shows a pair of the proper silencers.
Talking with Anna may be difficult as she informs me that she has been forced out of membership
of the NOC.

I never heard from the…
I never heard from the Vendor and didn't take just one. Anna has my bike in her registry, I know she is/was on Facebook somewhere.
Thanks,

These silencers do indeed look like those as fitted to the 1961 range of Manxman 650 bikes. They had horizontal seams, looked like a standard Dominator silencer on its side but 0.5" thicker and had Norton stamped on the hanger flange. If these are original then they are very rare.
