sidecar fitting.

Hi. I am fitting a sidecar to a featherbed frame and I wonder if anyone can tell me how to identify the required yokes, top and bottom. I have got a top yoke which is stamped "sidecar" between the handle-bar lugs, it also came with a bottom yoke which seems to match, but that is unmarked, apart from a casting number. Anyone got any information. Thanks. Richard

Hi Richard. I believe that the underside of the bottom yoke has a large circular boss cast into it beneath and concentric to the tubular stem. I think it’s about 1.5 inches or so across and a quarter inch high. The solo lower yoke doesn’t have that boss.
