Hi all.
Being the new owner of a 1973 , 850 Commando and being very much a novice I have many questions to ask but to start can anyone help identify the exhaust roses om my bike as they seem different to all the other commando ones I've seen. I was wanting to buy a spanner to tighten them as they are a little wobbly but doubt it would fit. Any help would be much appreciated

Those nuts look quite neat; apparently pre-drilled for lock-wiring (if one thinks that that's needed — I don't) and evidently expecting some kind of peg spanner to tighten. However, I'd be worried about being able to apply enough leverage via a peg spanner.

nuts
Just worth checking that the nuts fitted are not home/machine shop made that have a very slight larger thread diameter than the originals to take up chatter/wear in the soft aluminium head , if you can borrow a original nut to check the head thread before ordering new nuts especially as you say the ones fitted are a bit wobbly.

They are non-standard nuts, no idea who made them, best replaced with Bronze nuts and use the standard exhaust nut spanner.
They could be based on the Beemer exhaust nuts which have a few variations
