Hi all, I'm just looking for replacement 750 +20 pistons for my Non Combat Commando. The new Hepolite pistons seem good value at £83 + VAT and carriage but are they any good. I just wondered if anyone has fitted them and had any problems before I buy a set. I know you often get what you pay for and these are a lot cheaper than others on the market. TIA.
They are good

Pistons
Cheers Pete,
I will phone RGM to see if they have the ones with better rings and flat circlips in stock like the other lad said. Im gonna re check the psi in my cyls but the first check said 60 in one and 75psi in the other but I forgot to open the throttle fully which might have given a false low reading.

They are made in Taiwan by JCC and are excellent copies of the UK Hepolites. Which rings and circlips are in box is much more important, you want the later UK Federal Mogul rings and the proper flat circlips with holes for the circlip pliers. Box contents have varied and with some suppliers turnover being slow you could end up with early boxes with wire circlips and not so good rings.

Morning Don
I used them in Mitzi, my mk3. No problems since and that was 20,000 ish miles ago.
