Hi,
Can anyone please tell what year these numbers from a N15CS hybrid are from and if so do they look correct:
Frame and Engine have matching numbers: 120823
Gearbox is NA15690G
Would I be able to get any conformation of authenticity via this site?
Thanks in advance for any and all help as always it’s very much appreciated.
Kind Regards
Phil

Phil; Hope this helps. Click on the HISTORY tab here. There are two Atlas Hybrid pages listed. #1 is N/G 15 history, #2 is P11 for general information. The ‘hybrid’ factory records are with the AJS/Matchless Owners Club. Gearbox numbers are specific to each bike like the motor/frame numbers. Your motor/frame number looks like early 1967. The AJS/Matchless records should have a shipping date as well as the proper gearbox number. The records are not 100% complete however. Best of luck!

N15CS
That is the first time any one has said thank you like that. The so called 1968 N15CS you wanted to buy, was clearly not, and the dealer could be done for miss representation of that bike. It was way to expensive, and it very clearly a late 1966 or early 1967, but never 1968. It did have too much wrong with it for the money that was being asked. for it. I bought my first hybrid bike in December 1970, and i still have it. It is a 1967 Matchless G15CSR street scrambler one of only 95 produced. I have been researching these bikes ever since.

I suggest that you email the NOC technical adviser for these models at: hybrids@nortonownersclub.org.
I feel pretty sure that Anthony Curzon will be able to assist.
