Jubilee foot rest rubbers

John, there are two types of rear foot rest rubbers - the flat ones which are for earlier bikes and the round ones which are for Jubilee, Navigator and Electra post 1964, if my flagging memory is correct my late Navigator rear foot rests are squarish and sound like yours.  The NOC shop part number is SS02 C1_042569 and they are £3.75 + VAT.   

I am assuming that you aren't thinking of the main foot rests which are 5/8" - if you are they are also available from NOC shop part number - SS04 D6_22020I at £5.50 + VAT.   I use a light smear of red rubber grease to ease them on.

With so many changes by Norton/AMC to the lightweight model range over it's 7 years it is difficult to definitely say what the correct footrests for your Jubilee are. You don't tell us the year of manufacture.

I agree with Bryon that yours are different from the Electra rear footpegs.

I know the flat pillion footrest rubbers were fitted to early lightweights as Nick suggests.

I know first hand that when not properly tightened the footrests fall off and any footrests with a 3/8 or 10 mm hole can be fitted in it's place. Just like yours in the photo.

The proper footrests are waisted to allow the rear brake rod to pass straight between rear brake arm and brake lever without fouling footrest.

Glad you found some rubbers to fit your footrests. They were not fitted on your bike when it was new. Now you know what the footrests should look like, you might find some similar waisted ones on that auction site if the brake rod fouls.
